PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans Continues Non-Traditional Expansion with 75th Location in Metairie, Louisiana

Coffee roaster & retailer opens first drive-thru-only location at Diaz Convenience Store
November 5th, 2014 (New Orleans, La.) — PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans (PJ’s) continues to excel in non-traditional growth with its newest store opening in Metairie, La. at Diaz Convenience Store.  This location, which opened last week on the corner of Clearview and W. Esplanade, marks the first drive-thru-only location out of 75 total PJ’s locations.

“Our newest location in Metairie provides us with an opportunity to fill a void,” says Reid Nolte, Director of Marketing of Ballard Brands, the parent company that operates PJ’s. “Locals traveling to and from work need a great cup of coffee; our drive-thru location is in just the right spot for those who want a quick cup without sacrificing quality. We’re excited to see what’s to come here.”
In addition to convenience stores, the company’s non-traditional growth has also placed a large focus on hospitals and medical universities, traditional college campuses, casinos, hotels, military bases and airports.
